Street Parking Bay booking enquiry

For some situations, the City will approve the reservation of an on street parking bay. For example, contractors doing work on adjacent buildings or associated traffic management.

Please submit the below form to make an enquiry about reserving an on street parking bay, you will receive an email advising the outcome of your request. If you have not received a response by two business days prior to the commencement of your booking please phone (08) 9461 3800 during office hours (9am - 4pm, Monday to Friday).

Please Note: Do Not use this form for bookings associated with Obstruction Permits. If your parking bay booking relates directly to an Obstruction Permit, please apply for an Obstruction Permit here. Parking bay bookings will be arranged as part of your application.

    Conditions:
  • The City requires 2 full working days notice for all bookings.
  • Late requests cannot be accepted.
  • Cancellations require 1 full working day notice.
  • Changes to your accepted booking may not be accommodated.
  • Payments by credit card must be made by one full business day prior to the commencement of your booking or the request will be cancelled.
  • Removalist bookings are only accepted for weekends.
  • The Reservations Team will not be responsible for any cancellations which result from not obtaining the appropriate permits.
  • The City is unable to reserve parking bays for weddings or private events.
  • Parking permits can be purchased if you do not meet the above requirements. Please contact Customer Service on (08) 9461 3333.

    Costs:
  • The daily rate is $76 for each bay, Monday to Saturday.
  • The half-daily rate is $38.50 for each bay, Monday to Saturday.
  • $38.50 flat rate for each bay on a Sunday.

Obstruction permits:
An Obstruction or Special Events permit may be required depending on the nature of the work. If you think you may need this, or would like to confirm the city’s requirements, please contact the City of Perth on (08) 9461 3333.

If you are reserving parking bays for anything other than parking of a vehicle. You may require an obstruction permit. Please call the City of Perth on (08) 9461 1444 for further clarification.

Once your request is approved, you will receive an email confirming your booking. This will only take place if the approval is successful.

If you are not an account holder with the city, your email will also advise how to make the payment online. Please note, the payment needs to be made by one full business day prior to the commencement of the booking, otherwise the request will be cancelled.
